Gadgets Don't Give Headaches...But Music Does

An interesting study featured in the journal BMC Neurology studied over a thousand teenagers and looked for causes of headaches. The result: computers, cell-phones, and video games are not associated with headaches. This is great news! The bad news is that listening to 1 to 2 hours of music per day was associated with a significant amount of headaches (At least hearing loss doesn’t seem so bad now when you can have one of these).

Just to show how ambiguous science really is the report goes on to suggest that these same results could be the cause of teens prone to headaches using music to soothe them. Well at least everyone can get back to sitting in front of their computers 8 hours a day.
